Choclove
“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.”
― Charles M. Schulz
That Line, “All you need is love,” appears in a couple different places. It must be because it’s so true! Except when chocolate will do far better.
Now I know that’s dangerous to a food or sugar addict, and yet I can’t help but recall a few times in my life when letting a whole chocolate bar slowly melt in my mouth section by section, ended up being the best thing I could have ever done for myself.
But then again, there’s love.
Love smooths over a child’s raging fit when they’re a toddler.
Love assures a teen that all is not lost when their first love is lost.
Love secures the match between two spouses when they first say, “I love you.”
Love sits at the bedside of a family member when another is dying.
Love can repair a breach between a minister and her large congregation.
Love can convince lead warring nations to choose the survival of their people over continued fighting.
Love, will bridge the gap when no other way works.
May you know God’s love which surpasses all of those above understandings,
And may you always have access to chocolate.
Rev. Ken
