“Keep in mind that the true measure of an individual is how he treats a person who can do him absolutely no good.”
―
Ann Landers

Unless they are someone who has given me permission to offer comment on a regular basis, I do as little “measuring” of others as I possibly can.

So, I think it best I re-word this Ann Landers quote;

Ken, see that stranger over there? Wish them well. Pray for them. Recognize your mannerisms and actions in them. I promise, if you do, you’ll sleep better tonight.

And Ken, why you’re at it, if you have two coats, give them one. And if they have no meal, give them yours.

So, they appear as if they have nothing to their name, and probably they have made their home of this street. Talk to them, be relaxed, be a human in their eyes and not just some passer-by.

I can be a friend today. So, I will.
